What I’ve found is that people know which platforms they enjoy. Bringing people over from other platforms is like shouting into the wind.

Agreed, Tamzin. Every platforms algorithm conspires against cross pollination.

But I think it’s mainly people’s own preference.

I love YT but I’m back on FB because more people are responding to me on there just because they are stuck in there. That’s what they are used to.

Totally get it and understand, Tamzin. I just reactivated Facebook after an almost 10 month hiatus because it’s the best way to reach my friends, neighbors, and fans for local in person events.

Okay, I’m only a few minutes in and already have little brain sparks going off. 😂

One nugget I’m loving: older posts are still valid because they came from your actual body of work (preeminence). You don’t have to treat them like leftovers.

And I loved Seth’s point about not needing to announce, “I’m taking the week off, so here’s an old post.” just post it with a tldr.

True fact. We’d all benefit from extracting more juice from the content we’ve already created rather than wasting it on trying to create something brand new.

And just realized this is a rearview mirror thing too.
